Why GOG.

A real pathway

GOG exists to move officials up: middle school to high school, high school to college. Training, evaluation, and assignments are all built around advancement.

Pay that climbs

Start at $30 per game and grow to $200 for the highest-level assignments. Better games, better checks.

Volume and variety

3,000 games a year across school ball (Nov–Mar) and tournament season (Apr–Jul), from YMCA courts to NCISAA gyms to college floors and circuit events.

STEP 01
Join & register
Annual registration: $85. Get onto the GOG roster and into the system.
STEP 02
Train
The four-week fall clinic (mid-Oct to mid-Nov, one evening a week, 2–3 hours, $25) covers mechanics, positioning, rules, and game management. New officials get certified; veterans sharpen up.
STEP 03
Work & get evaluated
Real assignments matched to your level, with evaluation built in. Assignments, schedules, and pay run through Refr Sports.
STEP 04
Move up
Show the work and the level moves with you: high school varsity, NCISAA, college JV and intramural — and tournament-season circuit basketball.
